I'll add to the line ups with the Pirates are 14-23 on the road and the Rockies are 14-15 at home.
We are 5-5 over our last ten and the Rockies are playing their best ball of the year going 9-1 in their last ten.

I would like to see Nyjer get going. On that note he gets hit by a pitch.

And then he kicks the ball between 1st and 2nd and gets called out.

Lead off double and a score on a Wild Pitch for the Rockies. Let's hope we score tonight too.

Big HR for Tulowitzki 2-0. This doesn't look good tonight for Ross.

Not good at all. I started Randy Johnson tonight instead of Ross and it doesn't look like that is a move i will want to take back.

I think I would always start Randy Johnson over Ross. However, his numbers aren't as bad as I thought they would be.

His numbers aren't that bad so far because he worked his way out of trouble. They could have been very bad though.

3-0 end of 3rd. The 9 ERA will not get it done. I hope we get 9 runs this series. :)

Oh, well, at least Pedro Alvarez is heating up: 9 for his last 16 (3 for 4 Friday night). BA is up to .251 now, with 14 HR, 14 doubles, 56 RBI.

This is a horrific game. 6-0 and two home runs over the 415 sign and no offense at all from us. Ugghhhh.

Well i will try to find some pluses in this game.
We got going late which could roll over into tomorrow's game.
Burnett continued to look good with 2 K's and also dropping his season ERA to 2.83.
Meek also looked good dropping his season ERA to 3.04. He could be going below an ERA of 3.00 very soon.
We still were able to work out 8 hits from 6 different batters.
This loss can only be blamed on Ross Ohlendorf, who hasn't looked good as of late and his ERA is getting close to 5.00 now. We need to see the Ross that we saw early in the season and we need to see him back soon.
