didn't the Bucs pound Lincecum senseless the last time he pitched at PNC?...like to see a re-PETE performance!

Is this game being broadcast nationally?

If not, what a croc.

Haven't other hyped prospects in the recent past had their debuts broadcast by the WWL?

Or was it just in Strasburg's case?

I thought I saw mentioned somewhere that it was (and considering Lincecum is also pitching, it would be a good idea all around), but I'm not seeing it anywhere on my end. Holding out hope that maybe it shows up as the "MLB Network Alternative Programming" I'm seeing listed at 7.

Not sure about your question though. Alvarez's debut wasn't, and although people might not remember those days now, he was a mega-hyped hitting prospect just a tier below a Harper/Trout. His debut got plenty of attention on ESPN the day of/highlights the day after though. Strasburg's obviously was, not sure about Harper's.

I'm sitting in bumper to bumper traffic trying to see first pitch and with 10 minutes until game time I doubt its going to happen. Never seen traffic for a buccos game like this on a Tuesday night.

Then again the "Old kids on the block" are in town.

I seem to recall Harper's first game being broadcast on ESPN.

To go further back, I believe BJ Upton or Delmon Young's was, too.

Of all the games for ESPN to make a big deal about during a/the season, you would think that the debut of a former #1 pick on a playoff-contending team vs. another playoff contending team might, you know, qualify.

I'm actually getting it on MLB Network now. They had the usual "MLB Tonight" listed ont he guide all day but it changed to the game at 7.

Why the FUCK is the game blacked out in Delaware? Is this the giants territory or the pirates territory?

I care less and less about this team and baseball in general the longer shit like this continues.

96, 96, 99, you're out.

Not a bad start.

I've seen an 87 CHANGEUP!

And a breaking ball that broke about four feet. I swear that's what it looked like.

When I turned on MLB Network and saw Ray-Sox I thought for sure my internet package would be blacked out. So far, so good.

Fastball is awesome, but doubt he can sustain that over the course of several innings. I agree, get him some runs!

I'm blacked out on MLB network. I have no game available.

SO apparently Delware is in the Pittsburgh or San Francisco market AND the Boston or TB market?

Well, if Mr. Selig doesn't want me to watch baseball, then I guess maybe I will stop watching baseball.

In his last game at AAA his last fastball was 98.

MLB(our game) is blacked out in Southern Oregon also. Watching it on the San Fran Bay Area network so I guess that is why.

So a secondary pitch would be nice.

Oh great, Barmes with the bases loaded and no outs. Can we just take his bat away so he doesn't hit into a DP? This is knowing the pitcher is next...
