Big, big win. Lose the first two games, down 4-0 after the top of the 1st, and come back to win.

The Super Pen notches another one.

I loved when we acquired Snider last year from the Blue Jays and he is starting to step it up. I believe hes still a young guy and how many years does he have left on his contract?

Yep. Pulled back even with the Reds and the Cards lost today to the Giants. A good day all around....

Yeah, the Pen having it's work cut out. And I thought last year's bullpen was good....

Of course, they have to. We're still struggling offensively. We've now played 57 games and we scored more than 5 in only 13 games. Which seems low to me. The Nats, one game below .500, have scored more than 5 in 17 games, for example.

I called this one in the first inning. I'm having crow for dinner tonight.

Can't say enough about our bullpen. After a slow start to the series the bats came alive to win it.

Key play to the game: Frazier lets the ball go on the hit by Cutch and Cozart probably fields that and throws him out. GI and Snider came through.

Reds committed the sin of going on cruise control after top of 1st. Hard to flip the switch back on once it is off.

If Gomez goes to the dl what are the predictions on who gets the call up?

Hopefully it won't come to that.

If it does, isn't Chaz about ready?

Is Phil Irwin still around?

I think Morton is probably the best bet to fill in if necessary.

Irwin and McPherson are both on the DL, unfortunately.

Bucs don't need pitcher on Thursday. If Gomez hurt, it should be Morton - he didn't do great tonight though.

I would like to see if JMAC could come back and pitch if his last outing was accurate. Under 40 pitches in 4 innings. I know its not realistic, but thats a positive sign

If JMac is under 40 pitches he's probably about a month out from returning assuming no setbacks.

He has probably at least 4 more rehab starts to go at that point. If they pulled him under 40 I'd assume he's not even at the 60 pitch level yet.

I would also like to thank the save for existing, sparing the Bucs from facing Chapman yesterday and affording them three innings against a middle reliever.

Agreed. If Baker brings in Chapman to face Jones, it's probably game over (even if Hurdle counters with Gaby, as it's harder to hit a HR as a righty at PNC).

The Pirates should have countered with the woman the Pittsburgh Police found tied up his hotel room from last year. Oddly enough, it was almost one year to the date when that happened.

Alfredo Simon killed a guy in the Dominican Republic.

And Johnathan Broxton has been known to kill a buffet spread.
