IA pulls out the "big guns" and includes his favorite player of all time . . . . I also recall that Ray was a "Cub Killer" . . . . good karma.

Based on forecast, I'm not anticipating that baseball will be played today at PNC.

90 degrees up there today. I remember the storms that we'd get on those days. Stronger lightning/thunder than I've ever seen in Florida.

If I wasted the big guns on a postponed game there will be a baby kitty that pays the price...

There are definitely storms around but there's a good chance they will be able to play here tonight.

It's still hot and sunny at my house. I'm going out to cut grass.

I'm watching with a gaggle of Cubs fans and am having a blast! Liriano is dealing tonight! Let's get some runs baby. I'd love to see Cutch steal 2nd here...

IMHO.

EDIT: LOL. I called Liriano "Nelson" initially.

That was a well played game last night. Right on par foe how Smardj pitches against us. Liriano is proving he's back to form and I love how he continues to talk about the importance of spotting his fastball. His fastball has that great velocity again and he just tees off from there with that nasty offspead stuff.

Who knew a little two out magic in the first would be enough?
