Hasn't Harang been a thorn in the Pirates' side over the years?

He had success against the Bucs when he was in Cincinnati, but everyone was a thorn in our sides a few years ago. Not necessarily with this current group, though. Martin, Barmes, and Jones have pretty good career numbers against Harang: http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/batvspitch/_/id/5181/aaron-harang

And he has been terrible for about three or four years now. We just need the rain to hold off.

Ok, the roster is falling apart as we speak. McDonald is out and is going on the DL. Martin is out with a stiff neck. This sucks. Harrison up from AAA.

and Morton had a setback, Irwin is on the DL at Indy along with KMac, and Karstens is just about to begin his rehab. Looks like 2-3 weeks of Jeanmar!

JMac injured, who could have possibly predicted that?

I smell a 14-13 game. Hopefully, Cutch blocks an extra point and the Pirates win.

Well maybe Andy Oliver will get a shot in the rotation. It will be AJ and the Lefties.

And it's time to promote Pimentel to AAA.

I thought I read somewhere where Morton's setback wasn't as bad as thought. Something about just not being able to get loose? How is Cole doing at AAA?

No batting plan for most. Look at two decent pitches for strikes then hope he misses his spot or swing at crap.

Poor Aaron Harang's mlb gameday picture makes him look like a chemo patient.

That's funny. That's what I think when I see a picture of Clint Barmes.

Another leadoff hit for Marte.

What is with the Pirates pitching staff walking former Pirates? LaRoche last series and now Bay?

To be fair, he looks like a RECOVERED chemo patient. :D

Alternatively, Harang looks like Fred Durst waking up early after a week long bender.

Wow, Pedro. Just WOW.

Haha. Can't watch the game. Why was Gomez taken out after giving 0 earned runs?
