I don't remember if I mentioned it before on the board or not, but from watching it on TV, Miller Park looks a lot different to me than most other ballparks.

Paint it green and it would look like Miami's warehouse of a stadium.

Alright Fort! Would have been nice if Alvarez lined it a little further into the gap beforehand but I'll take it. Fort should pinch hit more often, backup catcher status be damned.

McKenry is a nice back up to have. It seems like a month since he played last, but still manages to be productive when he gets his chances. I agree about the pinch hitting Ape. We have Inge as an emergency catcher now so it shouldn't be as much of a factor.

I wonder if Inge still carries around his catcher's mitt?

I didn't think it could get worse than Clint Barmes, but I forgot about John McDonald...

Yeah, it seems he's started, what 5 or 6 games already. I'd rather take the devil you know in Barmes. And after that throw he made yesterday, I'd rather he man the SS position.

0-2 count on Segura and Wilson throws 3 straight pitches in the strike zone? Nice game plan there. Real nice.

So, do I have this right: the Brewers have had 6 players on 1st, and four of them stole second?

Axford is the gift that keeps on giving. Why do they keep trotting him out there in high leverage situations? Because they "have the lead" and "he's closed"? If I were a Brewer fan, I would react every time like I currently do when we sent that huffing and puffing meth-addicted gazelle Hughes out.

(and yes, I know Hughes generally has had good stats and he only sucks when I watch and he's not doing theatrics where he tries to lick his chin or whatever on purpose or what have you - so no need to set me straight. It's a core belief that he's bad!)

I even had a Gameday screenshot ready to snap after Inge literally took the first two pitches literally right down the middle and I anticipated impending doom. I guess the injury gave him time to regroup. Well done.

Only have Gamecast on at the moment - did James McDonald run for him?
