The Bucs can't lose to a pitcher whose name translates to "small penis," can they?

You shouldn't ask these questions BEFORE the game...

Rookie ump behind the plate. He fits with in the rest of them. Strikes out Cutch on a pitch out of the zone. I would say he won't be around long but MLB doesn't care.

Hey, my wife got Sirius XM (whatever it's called.) I am listening to the Pirates broadcast. Tim Neveritt (Everett? What's his name?) is OK. I thought I would hate
his voice (sounds too much like Skip Carey, but Tim's voice is OK.)

Sunday Greg and Steve did the broadcast. Who is with Tim tonight? Is it Wehner? I haven't heard his voice in eight years so I'm not sure who's who. What's the
deal.. do they take turns doing innings or what?

Really, AJ? I love you man, but you can't be walking a pitcher in his first big league at bat. Result is a run and a tie game.

Was that a passed ball or wild pitch?

Who could not see this coming? 4 IP, 1 run by the Phillies version of Philip Irwin - but with less velocity, and not nearly as good a curve.

And to Pirate hitters, apparently, with his 90 mph fastball.

AAA hitters, on the other hand, were stomping him.

AJ doesn't have good control tonight. And we are not hitting this rookie. Bad feeling about tonight.

4 hits through 4 innings including a HR is not what I'd consider "not hitting" ... let's see what happens.

So, the Phillies have scored on a wild pitch and a hit batsman. Very frustrating.
