Nice not to see the "Sunday lineup" since Hurdle basically did that yesterday.

So sick of seeing Sanchez starting games. If this is another terrible start, than there has to be a change.

Patience, Grasshopper.

Chaz, Liriano (and Contreras?) are a few starts away. K-Mac is also currently on the DL, so there aren't a ton of options unless the Pirates go to the well of the Brian Burres', Dana Eveland's, etc.

The season is young and the Bucs are holding their own. No need to rush up Cole/Taillon just yet. Let them get their reps in MiLB until June comes.

Also, earlier in the year I questioned why Sky was batting fifth/sixth, but now I think it's understandable.

If Snider does continue to improve and so long as Sky is a consistent OBP guy, he's extremely beneficial batting before Pedro. It 'sets the table' for him and means they can't [necessarily] walk him to face Martin (or if Pedro K's and it doesn't end the inning, Martin has a man on---possibly to knock in).

Not saying the move makes total sense, but it's justifiable and it was wrong to rush to quick judgment*.

*Of course, I reserve the right to alter this opinion should the move come back to bite the Bucs in the future. :D

Sanchez had 2nd batter struck out, ump called ball. Actually called two pitches shown as strikes on graphic balls.

Had the Upton struck out too before he struck him out again. It all worked out though.

Had Upton rung up, ump calls ball. Gets him swinging though and Martin throws out stealer. Strike em out, throw em out. Love it.

According to the game tracker these last two games, the umps have given the Braves many favorable calls.

 It is April 21 and in 16 games Russell Martin has thrown four runners out. In 99 games last year Rod Barajas threw out six runners.

Should of been 3-0 on Snider. Ump needs to remove his head from his fucking ass pronto.

I'm all for less clutter on the screen.

Sanchez really showing some emotion coming off the mound. Sometimes them seeing eye singles are taxing.

damn, I thought Cutch had that one. This Atl pitcher doesn't impress me at all. I'll be disappointed if he lasts through the 6th.

Well, I think he's pitching for his life today. These last 10 pitches or so though, he looks like he's lost it. I'd get him out of there ASAP.
