Too bad he lost the no no. He pitched a hell of a game tonight. Now let's get the W.

Alas it was not meant to be.

Still, another stellar outing from A.J.

That guy is just terrific:

Season Stats
W L SV IP K WHIP ERA
0 2 0 24.0 35 1.04 2.63

Worthy of the term 'Ace'.

It feels good to be on the winning end of a game like this for a change. :D

Anyone decipher what his 'Shhhhhh' gesture to the Cards bench was definitively about? Were they chirping to him?

Didn't see that, however I was just watching the game highlights and couldn't help but notice a Cardinals player clearly yell something out from the dugout right at first base as Snider reaches first after his RBI single in the first. Probably nothing but if this kind of chirping was happening all game I can where Burnett might do that. Check 0:13 of the video here: http://pittsburgh.pirates.mlb.com/video ... 7&c_id=mlb

Blame me for the lost no hitter, guys. I prayed for the Redbirds to get that hit. I was told that I couldn't subscribe to the MLB package. If AJ had tossed a no no
I would have gone nuts not being able to witness it.
