There is nothing you have seen this year thus far that can possibly give you faith in JMac.

His first start: 7IP, 2H, 1ER.

He settled in fine after a bad first inning in his second start as well.

So no, the words you put in my mouth are not true at all.

Keep burying your head in the sand. He may get it together, and lets hope he does. But at this point he has reduced velocity, breaking pitches aren't sharp, and erratic control...not a recipe for success...

Send him back to the minors!

He is out of options, a DL stint is more likely.

That was pure batting practice. Fastball topped out at 90 according to the tv radar. Zero break on his curve. No control. That about sums it up. This was my fear...already have an injury to Wandy, albeit not major, and JMac looks like toast. Liriano better get healthy fast. Gonna need some help for this staff....

Liriano 3IP 6K last night in his 1st rehab start at high A. He will need 3 more most likely to get his arm strength up. So, May 5th for his Bucco debut?

Last year people got so pissed off at me for dissing on Pedro. I even had people threatening me. But the guy sucks! I really think he needs to hone his skills in AAA for awhile.

And I think jmac is hitting bedard territory. This is more than just a slump.vyou can't let a team score ten runs in the first two innings. And hurdle can't let it happen either. 6 runs can win you a lot of ball games.

I would have thought that you had learned your lesson with Pedro last year .... disappointing.

As Shark pointed out JMac was effective in his first start, so-so in #2, and terrible tonight. Lets settle down a bit.
