The walk to Heisey with Votto/Phillips due up with one out was suicide. The curse of LeRoux lives on.

Anyone think Phillips should get one in the back tomorrow? The guy is a punk.

Serious question:

After Heisey walked the Reds lineup was pending: L-R-L-L.

Wilson has been dynamite thus far.

Now obviously the risk vs. Phillips was there, but putting a young fireballer like J-Wil out there could have at least inspired some confidence in the kid, right?

Thankfully, Cutch has made this point moot.

I agree. He's a p.o.s! Great ball player however.

I have no problem Watson facing Phillips IF he is throwing good that inning. He wasn't. The move was a no-brainer. Apparently, Clint couldn't see that.

I can see why his animated personality would annoy some people but I have no problem with Phillips. Living in Cincy, I've only ever seen him engage in light, good-hearted discourse with anything involving opposing team's players. He does deserve to be hated by Cardinals fans after some comments he made about the city of St. Louis last year after those teams had the big brawl, granted they were clearly tounge-in-cheek social media blurbs.

I thought we had tonight off, so imagine my surprise when I saw the score on ESPN. But, a lot to like overall: every starter with a hit (12 overall, which is a veritable monsoon this season) and only 3 Ks. And our top four hitters have multiple hits.

Now, we just need to close them down. 3 outs to go!

Two off days in a row, including a Friday night?

Get it together, val.

Grilli struck out Votto. Bring in the computer strike zone.

I love it. Four outs to win the game and striking out Hot Dog.

Didn't really appreciate Jerry Meals making all those judgment calls and forcing Grilli to get four outs, but he troopered through it.

Great win, Bucs!

RAISE IT!

He made up for it.
