Holy S***

I didn't even know the game had started, and we're getting clobbered.

Nice to see Marte lead off his fifth (?) consecutive game with a hit. Guy's on fire.

We need Locke to pitch well so when one of the injured guys comes back, it forced the front office and Hurdles hand. Put Sanchez in bullpen.

Read up on him. A whopping 39-55 record. Gave up bonds 715 hr. he did pitch a no hitter in 2009. Had one good season in 2010. This guy shouldn't even be in a major league uniform.

Oh and as I was speaking, he gave up another long ball! Hurdle, get him the hell out of there!

Sanchez needs to become a professional dog walker. He's got walks down pat.

and behind door #2, the other pitcher who has no business being on a major league roster.

Come on, bring up Morris.

Better Sanchez than AJ, Wandy, or JMac.

Dang. Picked the wrong day to leave work early and watch the game. Buccos look awful, down 10-1 in the 5th.

At least the bucs got a series win. Win 2 out of 3 or get a sweep most of the time and these games wont matter as much. Gotta figure out the 4 and 5 spots though. Shore them up. Is Locke the answer? I don't know. Hopefully Cole can start dominating triple a when he time is called upon.

Hurdle just doesn't have the killer instinct. We could go for the sweep, but no. He throws shit out on the mound. Why can't the bucs finish off a series? We needed a sweep!

With you on both guys. I've never understood their fascination with Leroux. He had, what, a two week period two years ago where he was good and suddenly people acted like he was the next coming of...well, someone he's not. I don't get it. Bring a couple of the young guys up and find out about them. We've found out all we need to know about these clowns!

Better a shellacking due to a bad pitching outing than a frustrating <=3 run loss where the bats didn't show.

Besides, this was clearly the B-squad being rolled out (translation: you lose 54).

The off day should help and the first game of the series looks winnable: AJ vs. Leake.

A healthy (*knock on wood*) Wandy should be good for ~6 1/3+ on Sunday.

Ideally, the series vs. the Reds should come down to Locke vs. Cueto (*whistle*) on Saturday night.

Thought I heard Wandy wouldn't be able to go. Might miss a start but no DL hopefully

OKAY this team obviously doesn't give a shit about winning...How is Jonathan Sanchez even on this team?!?! I don't care if we got hit by injuries shouldn't there be better internal options then brining in Jonathan Sanchez?

You're right. Dang.

Bumping up JMac may be better than the alternatives (Gomez?), but we'll see.

Funny how you wait until he has a bad game to make this post instead of criticizing the move at the time, or saying similar things when he delivered a great start against the Dodgers a week ago for the sole purpose of playing the idiotic "they don't want to win" card. Oh and brushing off the common sense reasoning by claiming that you simply "don't care" that there were two injuries that allowed him to make the team to try to augment your point. Yes, there are internal options, but Sanchez earned his spot over those guys in ST. I wasn't in favor of it, I would have taken my chances on McPherson, but it's not like it was an inexplicable move.

His big issue in the past was the drop in velocity, correct? He was a good pitcher when he had his fastball. That said, he couldn't even pitch on the Royals last year. If you can't make it in that rotation, you probably have some issues.

But on the optimistic side, AJ Burnett had a similar start to this early in the season last year, then went on to pitch like an almost-ace most of the time. Lets not overreact yet.
