The following is a link to a story regarding a San Bernadino County Republican group (Chaffey Community Republican Women) which pictured Barack Obama on a phony 10 dollar bill adorned with watermelons, ribs and a bucket of fried chicken.

http://www.andhranews.net/Intl/2008/Oct ... -69661.asp

The President of the group said that "the move had no racist intent" and that "it was just food to me. It didn't mean anything else."

Yeah right.

Just another example of the outrageousness that can be seen from both sides of the aisle.

I played a gig last weekend in West Virginia with the Johnny Cash cover band that I'm in...when we showed up for the gig, none of us were in our playing outfits(all black dress shirts and pants), I had a T-shirt on that said 'Musicians for Obama'...
The promoter guy wanted to send us packing because of my shirt. He was not in favor of letting someone play on his stage when they support a Muslim. After putting up a fuss with the promoter guy about letting us play, he decided it doesnt matter if a democrat or republican is on bass guitar as long as the band sounds like Johnny Cash...that and the threat of my lawyer calling him sometime in the near future helped...

The show went on without a hitch, except for when he introduced us, he gave a little 'pep talk' to the audience about the election and the need for a real American in the White House...That was probably the last time we'll be back there...

For laughs, why don't you try to book another show there and tell the promoter that you got a different bass player. The dumbfukk will never know the difference.
