My side of town, Southwest, was apparently lucky. I still have power and water pressure, although a lot of the surrounding towns don't. The only damage I have is one section of fence collapsed and another section is leaning. Also there is a big tree branch that broke off and hit a corner of the house.

I'm ok. Thanks for the kind thoughts.

Bob

The power of prayer.
Glad to know that you escaped the worst.

Looks like a bomb went off here in the burgh. We had some intense wind last night, probably 50-60 mph.

I went to my son's to watch the Steeler game, but a transformer blew down there and he lost power, so we went to my house. Tree limbs were crashing down in the yard and the power went out briefly several times, but just for a few seconds at a time.

A tree fell on my brother's power line so he joined us around half time.

Duquesne Light says they will have my power back on the 18th. I'm glad they send all their extra crews down to Houston to help out.

Lovely. I also have a yard full of trees and other debris to clean up.

Ok, they now are saying our power won't be restored until SATURDAY. ONE FRIGGIN' WEEK. I might as well move to N'awlins...or Amish country.

Let me echo the others in saying how glad I am to see you're ok after that mess, Corsair. Must have been scary.
