Clearly, she has not yet gotten to her rightful position of being totally in charge. Within a couple of years, you will one day wonder how you lost all "hand" in decision making. Somehow, she will let you choose all the things she wanted chosen. Don't ask how it happened, it is enough for us to just realize that it's the way it is.

May I add my felicitations to you both - somewhat belatedly as I missed this thread when I was holidaying in Germany. Jamaica may not have been such a nice place for you to be this past week.

Not to hijack this thread or anything, but where in Deutschland did you go, Bertie? I spent a semester studying over there as an undergrad, and I've wanted to go back, but the greenback's value against the Euro makes that all but impossible on a medical student's budget.
