So, I'm turning in a leased vehicle tomorrow night, after having negotiated a new purchase this weekend.

This morning, my leased vehicle stalls out, and the transmission light pops on.

How should I best handle this? Tell the dealership? (They're obviously going to notice anyhow...) I would suspect this is under warranty....

Tow it to an independent service station myself for diagnosis?

Not sure how to handle this....

IF it is drivable, drive it in and drop it off. We experienced two weeks of trouble with our accord hybrid system and ended up buying a new one on Sat. Why is buying a car such a nightmare? :( :( :( 8-) 8-) 8-)

The light went out, and it's running ok now. No idea what that was about. I think I'll turn it in tonight :)

I watch the BBC version all the time. The US version sucks in comparison IMHO. I love when they do the goofy challenges. Great show. 8-) 8-) 8-)

Yeah, the US version has some growing up to do. But, it was the first season, and the finale in Alaska showed some promise.

The BBC characters do have more charisma, it seems.

Loved the show when Tom Cruise road the course mostly on two wheels, and another when Jeff Goldblum couldn't get out of 3rd gear!

The one they had to buy and construct a caravan (travel trailer in UK) on a car and then head for a weekend holiday was funny. Also where they had 1000 dollars to buy a car in Miami and drive it to New Orleans was a hoot.

It all worked out in the end. Here's the new kayak hauler: 2006 GMC Canyon. 5CYL Inline, 4WD, brushed aluminum side steps, and a sweet bed liner and cover.
