It's been that long since Pearl Harbor- hard to believe and no I wasn't there when it hapened. I'm only a pup of 63.

That date used to be very significant during the year-- no longer and I guess 9/11 will eventually be less important in the national conscience too.

No, Sub, it is still a big deal to a lot of us. I am 49, and basically every parent during my early years remembered Pearl Harbor.

Used to work in the same building as a guy who was a Pearl Harbor survivor. California gave him a license plate denoting that fact. Said "hey" to him on occasion, and on one December 7, asked him what he remembered.

He could tell me details like it was yesterday.

Today did not go unnoticed by me. Not in the least.
