I've been playing guitar and singing out and about pretty reguarly lately and have gotten into a routine where it is the same basic set list every night...I stay away from original material because of it being a bar atmosphere and dont feel its an appropriate crowd to bust it out...

Anyway, I'm looking for song ideas to add to my list and to help to get me to practice a little more too...I'm am pretty much a folk, classic rock, blues, and throw in some country acoustic guitar/harmonica player...

Some of the Artists I cover: Neil Young, Bob Dylan, The Eagles, Steve Miller Band, Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Jackson Browne, and John Prine...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

..and better yet this one.

There's a lot of good stuff you could do, say..

America "Sister Golden Hair"
Ozark Mountain Dairdevils "Jackie Blue"
Rod Stewart "Maggie May"
Carole King "It's Too Late" (you cover female artists?)
Looking Glass "Brandy"
Bee Gees "How Do You Mend a Broken Heart?"
Ricky Nelson "Garden Party"
Samantha Sang "Emotion" (the country rock version.. seriously it'd be cool!)

Dan, Since you live in PA, a great regional band that I think would be very popular is the Badlees. I used to catch them in the Burgh during their heyday and they actually came out with a new album last year. They use the harmonica on some of their songs and I am sure people from PA know their songs if they are over the age of 30.
