Is anyone here a web guy/girl that knows how to generate an income stream for page? Not a "stop your real work" kind of income, but say a steady stream for an organization behind the webpage to help support the org. I am not of this school, and don't know where to go. Google ads? Something else? Embedding something? Hiring Vito and Nino?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

ZM

ZM,

I could definitely point you in the right direction, but I would need more details. PM me if you would like.

Yep. I am POTUS of the Pittsburgh Dart Association. We have our usual dues-based revenue streams, but I would like to use our internet site to create some kind of income stream to support our activities, which include sponsoring tournaments for the Make a Wish Found, for example.

Darts? Awesome!

Is there anywhere in Pittsburgh that you can actually throw steel tip darts? Every bar I go to only has the plastic "Arachnid" machine.

Yep, lot's o steel places.

www.pghdarts.com to see all the bars.

We are just finishing up our travel season this week, with Luck's next Monday and Tuesday night at the Chatterbox Lounge at the AMF lanes on Noblestown Road in Greentree. Feel free to come on either or both nights and bring friends.

We are working on a weekly LOD, but we have taken a hit by the softie guys offering a $500 or $1000 guarantee on Friday and Saturday nights. So, we are trying to work around those advertised numbers are not usually met.

But, NDL, you bring up my biggest issue and point. As long as you've been around, you didn't know about our web or league. I'm trying to figure out traffic, somehow, someway to get interested parties coming. Especially younger folks who are getting tired of dumping $0.50 in a machine for every game, all night.

ZM,

One way you can get more people to your website if you want to invest some money is through Google Ads. They are not expensive, you can actually set a budget per month and you won't exceed it. You would show up in ads like on this page but also on Google's search pages. And you can regionalize it so people in Denver Colorado don't see your ad which would be a waste of your money.

Contact me if you need some help setting up or have any questions.

BB, thanks, I will do that. Google Ads always seem to be a way to get interest. Does Facebook do the same thing?

Do you want to be my webwizard! LOL.

My friends and I play darts a lot. We usually drink at Hemmingway's because it's right across from the law school. They only have the Arachnid machines.

We've got finals for the next two weeks but after that I may be able to catch up and throw some darts and some of my friends might be interested too. Right now we're all in a real time crunch.

A couple things for you NDL, and any others interested. We are having a banquet on May 16th at Kennedy's tavern. That is Sunday afternoon through the evening. Steel tip interested are welcome. Catered dinner, luck of the draw, poker, pool through the evening. We can let you know about the league and luck's over the summer you might be interested in and are local.

Also, we are throwing Tues nights steel LOD at the Chatterbox, if you are done with Finals and can bring a few friends.

Let me know if there is more I can show you.
