As a Sabres fan, I just wanted to say thanks to the Pens fans last night for the big ovation they gave Ryan Miller (and Orpik of course), and for booing the highlight of the Crosby OT goal :)

Hockey fans (including me), can be brutal. Last night was a touch of class in an normally blood thirsty building.

Thanks!

Ryan Miller is a great guy and a great NHL Goalie. He played superb hockey throughout the entire Olympic games and represented the USA with class.

I would expect nothing less from Pittsburgh and our fans to recognize that that night at Mellon Arena. Our fans did and I was proud of that too.

Ah, it's not the uniform that makes the man...it's the man that makes the uniform. 8-)

It sounds good so I thought I'd type it.

Maybe if he was a Flyer, a little less applause....

Wow, you're right. It does sound good, and it states a profound truth.

Except if the guy is a Flyer. :D

Did I read that the fans in New York bood Crosby the other night? How can that be. Are we so closed as a people not to appreciate that he has accomplished some incredible things in his short career? Doesn't say much for us. He did nothing wrong here and said nothing wrong. All he did was to represent his country well in the games and for doing that, we become the "ugly Americans again!"
