Yes, I am a huge fan of this great singer/musician...even if I understand something like 60% of what he sings.

I love his parodies of famous songs....but I always wonder how famous he is in your country.
Here in Italy nobody knows him at all.
In the States?

Here are some good parodies and hits from his long career:

Let me know about him!

A favorite. Both for myself, my wife, and especially the kids.

Got his start on the long lamented Dr. Demento Show. Ah the days of Shaving Cream.

I wouldn't say he is an A-lister but most people know who he is. I believe he is also related somehow to Frankie Yankovis the King of Polka. :? :?

Weird Al is not related to Frankie...I remember seeing an interview with him and he said that...

He is a very smart guy, he skipped a year or 2 in high school and graduated at the age of 16...

I saw him in concert in 2000...Puts on a very very good show...

Yes, surprisingly, he is a genius (referring to his IQ). But as far as popularity, he is viewed as silly by many, but I loved him when I was growing up...had all of his albums up through the Jurassic Park one. Everyone knows who he is. In fact, he had a TV show for a while, targeted at kids, airing on Saturday mornings. I found the theme song for it...
