Well, I wasn't going to post anything, but Willton's post convinced me no one would mind.

I successfully defended my PhD in immunology on May 13, dissertation entitled "The Critical Role of Interleukin-17 Receptor Signaling in the Immunopathology of Influenza Infection and Development of Acute Lung Injury". Am very glad to no longer be a graduate student. Now I return to medical school to complete my MD...

Congrats BBF. Haven't seen a dissertation title like that since my brother got his PhD in micro-cellular biology. He makes weird and wonderful bugs to treat diabetes.

Hope your career is as interesting.

Argentum-

Academics has nothing to do with being smart, it has to do with one's ability to bullshit and SOUND smart doing so. And, as you know from my time here, that is something I am good at....

Congrats BBF. I don't even know half those words. Sounds like something Mrs. AZBF would read.

That title is Exhibit No. 4,345,675 as to why becoming a doctor in the medical field is so much more difficult than getting a degree in law.
Kudos to you. Much deserved.
