I have no idea what you are talking about... ;)

It was a great, great step to get bowl eligible. The schedule has been just plain brutal this season.

Congratulations to the I-State players and coaches on what must be one of the great victories in school history.

Want some fun, IA? Check out the game coverage and commentary on the Austin American-Statesman website: http://www.statesman.com/sports/longhorns/.

It's funny, when I heard they won, the first thing I thought of was you, Kyle. How cool is it that we have never met yet have a friendship? It's like that with many people on this board. We have followed AZ and Bucfan's kids' athletic careers, Ollie's losing sports teams (sorry Ollie), Dan's music career, ZM's darts etc.

I would have noticed the score and said nice upset and moved on, but it was a good feeling to know you had a big win.

I can't wait for the outing to hang out with everyone. The internet has really made it a small world and this board a special place. :)

Bob, the meltdown that is going on in Austin right now is a little comical. All Mack Brown has done is win a National Championship and play dominating football for many years. They are a tad down this year and he gets ripped. I guess my perspective is a little different being a Cyclones and Pirates fan.

Bucco boy, I know exactly what you are talking about. I even found myself cheering for the Rays since Prince of Pittsburgh is down in the Tampa area!

You almost did it again IA. What's going on in Ames?

The stadium went from complete chaos to you could hear a pin drop. My heart was torn from my chest and stomped on right in front of me. Seriously, heartbreak.

That being said it was one of the great college football games I've ever attended. The Cyclones are slowly turning the corner. You wouldn't know it by their 5-5 record but my goodness, they'll have played 7 teams that were ranked in the Top 25 at some point in the season, 5 of those were in the Top 10.
