It was kept very quiet so it was a shock to everyone. Probably one of the reasons he didn't go back to coaching.

Yeah, that's so sad. He's a good guy.

Chris Spielman's wife passed away last year after several bouts with breast cancer.

Even though Super Bowl XXX remains a horrible memory for me, I always smile and my mood brightens when I see that image of Bill and his family consoling him afterwards. It's really sad that she passed away.
