I had to start with that crappy intro...

Nice signings by the Pens today. Shut down defense is on the way.

In other news, the Sabres do nothing. That's exactly nothing. #fail.

I thought it wise to let 36 year old Gonchar go for much younger D-Men.

Especially when the two D-men signed for $9 mil and Gonch got $5.5 (and a guaranteed $16 mil!) by his lonesome.

I would have preferred Hamhuis over Martin, but since he commanded some dough w/ the Nucks, I think we got the better deal.

I think Hamhuis wanted back to his home Provence too :)

Seriously, nice day for the Pens.

Curious as to Pens fans take on Leopold?

Leopold = (not) Performance.

I liked his fluid skating and puck moving, but he wanted too much.

I liked both of the new signings over Leopold.

People don't even realize how much better the Penguins got yesterday. God bless Sarge. He was a key for us for five seasons, but he has declined both because of his health and his age.

The Penguins still need a scoring winger for Sid, but they are the team to beat in the East.

Im happy with getting Martin, but I don't know about this other guy they signed. I would have rather had a winger, and Martin getting signed.
