After an excruciating year (lets be honest, an excruciating four years) the Cyclones finally put together a great game! I'll be heading down to Kansas City all next week to hang with a handful of my good friends. We do this every year for the Big 12 basketball tournament. It's a spring tradition where we leave the wives/girlfriends behind and do nothing but drink beer, eat pizza, and watch basketball. Wednesday through Sunday will certainly be a mess once again!

With all due respect, you have no idea what constitutes an excruciating basketball season. Not even close.

Best of luck to Greg and the boys. I played hoops and baseball with him in high school and he's a good guy. However, word on the street in D.M. is that he's done at the end of the year. A nice run in the Big 12 tournament may save his job.

When does college football season start?

No. 9

I hear ya No. 9, it's been rough in Iowa City this year too. I'm a fan of McD as a person but I'm not going to cloud my judgment on one great win. His program has been a disaster for four years at ISU. I don't think ISU can afford to get rid of him, he has a contract through 2015. Ouch.
