Hossa was right. Ray Shero blew it this past off season too. As usual you cant fire 3 or 4 players

I think he should have gotten the axe after the Panthers game back on Jan 3rd. As it is, they have 5 points to make up to get in to the playoffs in 25 games. It is a very real possibility that they miss the playoffs, though they are not out of it by any means. Hopefully some changes such as giving Sykora some more ice time will be made and really help. Also, for the love of God, bench Eaton. Your top 6 D right now are Gonch, Whitney, Scuds, Orpik, Letang, and Gill. Assuming Whitney gets traded, Goligoski should be back up to take the 6th spot. Eaton should be a healthy scratch the rest of the year.

I also think a fair amount of the blame falls on Shero. I'm not too enamored with the roster he put together this year. I hope that if he decides to go out and get a winger, he makes the move sooner than later, and intends to keep him beyond this year.
