In case anybody is or has been looking for results from last night's four scheduled PIAA semifinal football playoff games, all four of those games were postponed until today (Saturday) due to inclement weather throughout the state of PA. As a result, all eight semifinal games will be played today. Sites remain the same.

I will be in Hershey on Friday as we have a local Class A team in the finals for the second straight year. Old Forge takes on Pittsburgh North Catholic.

Was at the Old Forge/Steelton-Highspire game last night. Old Forge is really good. So is North Catholic so I have heard.

North Catholic is an A sized team that could compete at AAA for the caliber of player they have this year.

Old Forge must also be quite good, as they handled perennial Class A super power Southern Columbia a couple of weeks back. Incidentally, Southern Columbia will be competing at the AA level for 2014 and 2015. That is bad news for all the AA schools in District IV, but then again it will probably be bad news for SC should they get out of the districts and have to play some of the AA powers from around the state. Looking forward to this coming weekend at Hershey. All four games will be televised on the PCN Channel
