I hate losing that way. So, amazingly, depressing.

I was watching and thinking of you IA. Been there many times with the Madness. Your team played hard. Tough one to lose.

ISU got the shaft. Not only was Craft "in the zone" where a charge can't be called, Clyburn was unquestionably in the air well before Craft ever got to the spot. While it was a close call whether Craft's right foot was in the zone (replays showed that it was), it WAS NOT a close call as to whether Clyburn was already in the air.

Horrible call and, more likely than not, it cost ISU the game and . . . given what is left in the West Region . . . an incredible chance of playing in Atlanta.

Welcome to my world. As an Iowa fan, I've gotten used to watching OSU, MSU, Indiana and Michigan having a 6th, 7th and 8th man on the court in most games and receiving "assistance" in key situations.

I'll repeat what Steve Kerr said after MSU came back to beat Iowa in the B1G tournament. Iowa won the basketball game that was played in the first 35 minutes. MSU won the football game that was played in the last 5 minutes.

Thanks fellas. I was just about over it this morning and while I was walking to work they started talking about the game on sports radio here in Chicago. Ugh. Well, at least we have our Pirates to help ease the pain! Oh, wait...

No. 9, gotta love seeing the Hawks play in Madison Square Garden this weekend.

I'm attending a conference in DC starting on Tuesday. I've already mapped out the game plan to train from Union Station to Penn Station for Thursday night if Iowa can sneak past Maryland. Yeah, its only the NIT but when do you have a chance to see your favorite college team at MSG and you happen to be out East?

You absolutely have to head to MSG. I've never been there but that is on my list.

Best arena I've ever been in.
