The NBA has been the equivalent of pro wrestling at least since they stopped calling traveling. That's when I lost interest.

I get the Lebron hate, but lets be honest here:

We as Pirate fans would totally take seven years of one of the best players in the game playing in black and gold and leading our team to prominence (and falling short), even if it meant he stabbed us in the back in the end.

We would totally take that deal.

We would hate that player's guts after he left, but we'd cherish and remember fondly (as best as we could) those seven years.

Isn't that right, Barry Bonds?

Barry Bonds made no pretense of having desire to continue playing in Pittsburgh. Barry Bonds did not have a hour-long narcissistic TV show dedicated to his free agency choice. Barry Bonds was not a "home town" hero. Big difference between Bonds and LBJ.
You'd see the same anger in Minneapolis/St. Paul if Joe Mauer pulled that manuever up there and left to play for the Yankees.

Very true, the NBA is getting closer and closer to turning into the MLB, where there's maybe 4 teams that have a chance to win it all. I've been telling my Cleveland peeps that I'd rather have the NHL if the Cavs indeed have to move in a few years, which is definitely a reality. I know you guys relish in Cleveland's agony lol, well some of you, but Lebron is a punk. This would be like Sidney Crosby saying he was taking his talents to Edmonton on national tv. I'm not trying to make stupid comparisons, just saying.

While Le Bron was here Clevelanders thought the world was envious of Cleveland. You couldn't tell anyone here that
"nobody bothers anymore." Now that he's gone Cavs fans have seen the light. We can all turn back into pathetic
losers again. He he!
