It's still early, but I did happen upon a 2017 Div II pre-season football poll for the top 25 teams. Check out the link below!

Three PSAC teams are included. No surprise in that NWMSU is ranked #1. See you all later in july and August as the pre-season activity heats up. Hope all of you are having a great summer! Husky

Wow! 26 views! Glad so many are interested in PSAC/Div II football. Am really looking forward to another season and keeping all of you informed as to what is going on in the PSAC and around the nation. By the way, I am going to bring back my "Winner of the Week" and "Flaming Ruins" designations this year just to spice up things a bit. Also hope to add more video coverage and interviews. Meanwhile, I am suffering with the Phillies and their dreadful performance. Go Buccos!! Be well and enjoy the summer of 2017.

Well, I have always been somewhat of a Pittsburgh fan also! I grew up in central PA somewhat east of State College. I remember spending many a summer night listening to Bob Prince and Jim Woods describing the Pirates' games on KDKA. Fun times! Do you remember Prince's comment after ever Pirate win? "How SWEET it is!!" Ciao
!

Prince was the best.

I like how our announcers refuse to give in to the norm, and still use the term "book rule double" when the ball bounces over the fence for a double. That's a tribute to Prince.

But our radio announcers today are lacking in funamentals. They stammer and pause and say things that don't tell you what is happening. Then after the play is well over they tell you what happened. Prince described the action in vivid detail as it happened.

Yep! Bob Prince was one of my all time favorites along with Bill Campbell here in Philadelphia and Jack Buck in St. Louis. They threw away the mold from which those guys were cast!
