So does Blysma get fired when they lose this series to the Islanders? He will if he start Fleury in Game 5.

And has anyone seen a play as talented as Geno that is that stupid?

Flower is not a playoff goalie, plain and simple. His flaws are well known and his psyche has clearly deteriorated in the clutch since the Montreal meltdown in 09. He could hack it when he was younger, but has not aged well. At this point, it's unlikely he'll overcome whatever his achilles heel(s) or whatever else is ailing him. Shame really, because he's not a 'bad' goalie, just 'unclutch'.

Geno's teenage antics are troublesome, but he's putting up points and isn't the problem.

All this said, lots of credit is due to the Isles. They're playing fearless and earning everything.

Fleury let in a couple of bad goals last night but the puck was bouncing in the Islander's favor. This game could have had a very different outcome.

If they had taken Flower out after this goal...

“My job is to stop the puck. It’s frustrating,” he said. “I wish I would have done better. It’s in the past."

That's a quote by Fleury. He seems to always say those words when he has a bad game. When the Islanders win the series, I guess that will be in the past too.

Fleury beats himself. He moves himself out of position after the initial save way too often, gives up way too many rebounds, and goes down to the ice way too often.

Other than that, Fleury is an over-rated solid goalie...

They should consider if Fleury is their No.1 goalie and rather see if he could be traded, if he keeps playing this way in the play-offs.. to many soft goals that wash away the good saves he makes.. Vokoun doesnt look as spectaculair as the flower, but he is solid right now..

NOW GET THE WIN!!

Good bounceback last night and Vokoun gave them some stability in goal.

End this thing Saturday.

The Penguins are embarrassing. Hard work beats talent every day of the week and that's what we are seeing. They will lose two games in this series because Malkin and Letang are too worried about looking pretty instead of doing what every hockey player is taught when clearing the puck out of your zone.

Embarrassing.

One series down, but, just to be safe, be ready to expect more of the same in the Sens series.

Hopefully, they can go up 2-0. Takes a lot of pressure off of everybody.

It's looking like the Pens will advance (they should have swept), but is anyone else not looking forward to the Broons?

Boston is clearly more physical and appears to be more focused since the scare vs. Toronto.

Boston is Ottawa redux. No scoring.

What a two-period barrage. And how about my hometown Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins coming back from a 3-0 deficit to beat Providence. Third team in AHL history to rally from down 3-0.

What a humiliating moment for the Penguins franchise and players. Two goals in four games. They are paying Crosby and Malkin $8 each and they were nowhere to be found.

Dumbfounding.
