Now Freese goes down for a month with a broken finger. That makes 6 from my original roster. Is there a record for number of hurts in a month?

I think you may have the record.

The injuries have shredded your team. Keep the faith, Sub. 2012 could be the season ... you have the makings of a very good core group of players.

While my team is not hurt, they've all gone on slumps at the same time...

I went from near the top to near the bottom in a matter of days...

Bucfan has tried to be patient with players who promised big-time production this year but started out by sucking - Santana, Choo, Pagan, Torres.

Thankfully, Santana and Choo have begun to produce. However, tough to break out of a slump from the DL.

Tonight I have a total of 5 position players active in games. The rest are off or on the DL or are guys off the rock pile. TWO are guys I played in game one-- Jeter and Tiexiera and while they are doing ok, they are Yankees and not my favorites. Not having fun yet.
4/10

I hear 'ya, Sub, but players off the junk heap can be pretty darn good. Here is my stab at the 2011 "Junk Heap All-Star Team." To qualify, the player must have spent at least part of the season on the FA wire:

C - Avila 5 HR's, 21 RBI's, .344 OBP
1B - Wallace 15 R's, .450 OBP
2B - Roberts 20 R's, 6 HR's, 16 RBI's, 3 SB's, .430 OBP
3B - Gordon 20 R's, 2 HR's, 20 RBI's, 2 SB's, .403 OBP
SS - Lowrie 14 R's, 3 HR's, 12 RBI's, .363 OBP
OF - Francoeur 17 R's, 6 HR's, 21 RBI's, .350 OBP
OF - Boesch 17 R's, 13 RBI's, 3 SB's, .368 OBP
OF - Fuld 18 R's, 10 SB's, .351 OBP
Util - G. Jones 10 R's, 6 HR's, 12 RBI's, 2 SB's, .393 OBP

SP - Jurrjens 3 W's, 1.01 WHIP, 1.52 ERA, 18 K's
SP - Norris 2 W's, 43 K's, 1.26 ERA, 3.03 ERA
SP - Chacin 3 W's, 1.18 WHIP, 2.91 ERA, 26 K's

RP - Walden 5 saves, 0.68 ERA, 0.90 WHIP
RP - Farnsworth 5 saves, 0.70 WHIP, 0.90 ERA
RP - Santo 3 saves, 0.00 ERA, 0.92 WHIP

I would take that production ... all from players off the "scrap heap."
