Sub, I think you are forgetting this is a keeper league. Once your 2011 season is over there are still many things you can do to get better for 2012. You can make trades shopping your useful non-keeper players (closers, career year guys) for better keeper options (young guys, injured guys). You can scour the free agent market for the next big thing types since you don't really care about 2011 production. You can take advantage of contenders need categories and try and pry away a keeper for multiple players taht help provide those stats.

I entered the league as an expansion team in 2009 leaving me with very questionable hitting to start because all the top bats were protected. My best two hitters were Crawford and Upton, then all I had was Carlos Lee, Raul Ibanez, Garrett Atkins and Jermaine Dye as keepers. You can build your roster if you stick to it and make a big effort in the trade/free agent market.

You can trade for draft picks too...There was a lot of dealing 2 offseasons ago...

Or you could take over my roster and watch the team put up another 3-37, O HR, 2 R's, 3 RBI night.
