Can we establish some rules with the keepers? When do they need to be in? I started looking at my team for 2011 and I am ready to do some strategy.

Well, step one will be to survey all owners to see who is or is not coming back. Once we have a full roster of managers, we can move forward. So, let's have everyone weigh in. Respond to this thread and save me the hassle of sending PM's, huh?

Despite my terrible performance last year (thanks Morneau!), I'm in.

Call me a glutton for punishment.

Hugo ... come on, man, where are you?

He rocks. His transaction pace put mine to shame.

I developed a fondness for rotary the past year. The system rewards solid, across-the-board team development. It does not punish a bad week, particularly in the playoffs.

Rock-on, rotary!!

I sent a PM to Dutch, asking him to check in.

Hope we hear from him soon. I pray that his love interests have not overriden his involvement with Fantasy Baseball. I mean, c'mon ... what's more important? Getting married or winning the UPPMB Fantasy League?

I put something on his Facebook. He hasn't posted anything on there since Christmas, though.

So are we able to conduct trades before the dispersal draft?

Good to hear, Hugo. We have all 12 owners back. Can we discuss some rules, especially with keepers.

Not quite, we have one owner who PM'd me and isn't returning. I am going to go through the waiting list from last year to fill that spot, but there won't have to be a dispersal draft, since it is only one team.

The keeper rules from last year were that each team keeps 10 players. From the beginning of trading through when keepers must be submitted, trading- including draft picks- is permitted. I will set a draft date as soon as yahoo leagues open, and I will set the keeper date about 10-14 days before that so that I have time to enter the keepers prior to the draft.

Draft has historically gone in reverse order from the previous year's standings, and has been a snake draft.

If anyone wants to propose changes to number of keepers, categories for the 5x5, etc., please do.

And since IA wants head-2-head, I guess....

NAAAAAAH. Roto it is!
