Season's over. I enjoyed the season quite a bit.

I know that the league wanted to get some more owners who were going to be "active" during the season. I know for a fact that wish was granted, since Minsk, Jim, Chris, NS and I were pretty active. In fact, Minsk and I almost used up our 50 moves by May.

Lot of fun. I look forward to some offseason dealing, and to the open draft next year.

The only thing I was active in was hoping the season would end.

Although, I still think I have core players worth retaining for next year who may help me compete, should you gents give me another shot to redeem my abysmal fantasy performance this season.

Thanks. Very narrow margins in most categories, with a 2-point swing either direction. I have begun to prefer Roto over H2H after this season. It smooths out some bad weeks, and does not wind up with a guy winning the championship based upon two good weeks.

But hey, you get a good draft pick next season. I get the dregs.

I am certain that you and all the rest will exact your revenge next season.

I am still pissed that I did not pick up Jose Bautista in early May. I debated between him and Troy Glaus ... and debated ... and obviously wound up losing the debate.

Time to beat a dead horse...

Head to head leagues tend to have better participation because there is week-to-week changes and one-on-one matchups. From July until the end of the season the number of points I had in this league rarely changed and the stats from day to day didn't seem to matter much.

There was almost never a day where my point total did not move by at least 1 point.

Even in July, I gained 5.5 points in a single day. My lead went from 9 points to 18 in a single day.

The issue was the significant difference in the standings by that point. Gaining or losing 2 points is less important where the gap between you and the nearest competitor is 8 points.

But I do like that the point total shows the year's production, and the championship is not decided in the last week of the season, where teams are sitting guys, setting up playoff pitching rotations, shutting guys down for the playoffs, etc.

Oh, I had forgot to add:

Congrats Bucfan on winning it all this year, despite your 'pitching woes'.
