I drafted starters who log K's, low WHIP and 15-18 wins each. Spent some early picks on these guys ... Lester, Johnson, Cain, and Hernandez. Later, added Tim Hudson and Shaun Marcum, two more starters.

So far, these six starters have started 10 games and have won the same number of games as me.

I should have drafted myself in the 25th round. At least I am not going to screw up my WHIP.

I know what you're going through...I had Morton blow up on me, Jurrjens blow up, Oswalt pitches for a team worse than the Pirates, and a bad start for Papelbon too...My ERA is Hayden Penn like!!!

Cain has been pitchin well and I don't know why he is 0-0.

Felix, meanwhile, has NO run support. The M's blew his opening day W and have left runners on base in bunches (and then proceeded to go 20 innings w.o./ scoring a run...)

I wouldn't worry too much, most of the pitchers you have are studs and will continue to pitch well and end up w/ 10+ W's each.

I had Sanchez start for me today against the Pirates...Sadly, Morton started for me too...

Still the results weren't too bad for my staff after two saves...

Pshaw...I'm thinking of picking up Brian Burress to lower my team's ERA. Sheesh, pitching has been bad this year.

Can we drop all the pitching and add more hitters then? because pitching is just too over rated...

I have two starters (Josh Johnson, Tim Hudson) going again today. This is the fourth time this year I have had at least two starters going for me on the same day.

Not one has been able to post a victory. If Johnson and Hudson pull another donut, I am going to blow up my roster. I will make my starting pitchers Kris Benson, Bobby Bradley, Clint Johnston, Sean Burnett, and Bryan Bullington.

I will call them the "Pirates Dead Arm, TJ Surgery Recovery Group." That group has the same number of wins as my present starting pitchers ... all seven of them.

Because he is on my team, NS. I thought we all knew the answer to that question.

Ah, makes sense.

King Felix pitches tomorrow night for the M's vs. Detroit (on Ken Griffey Jr. bobblehead night, no less!). M's bats are finally heating up, so if Felix pitches like his first two outings, a W looks likely.

What did I tell ya??? Felix pitched lights out and the M's hitting finally lit it up!

I shouldn't be too glad, but I do have Felix in another league and the M's 1-2-3 hitters in another. Call it a 'conflict of interest'. :D

Felix won his first, as did Hudson and Johnson in his last start. Not only that, but Felix and Johnson combined for 19 K's in their starts.
