Board Outage

Unfortunately, the UPPMB received a cyber attack and was down for short period of time.

Hoepfully, there won't be any more interruptions moving forward.

Why anyone would want to hack a baseball message board is beyond me. Welcome to 2026!

While it was down, I was thinking of trying to upgrade the software. Although there aren't many posters as there used to be, this board software is outdated and cumbersome.

One of the options might be to get new software, but that might mean we would lose past posts.

Anyone who has some feedback, please post here.

Yes the timing was good, but this board software is old. Again, I am willing to invest a couple bucks to get better software, but not sure what we can do with the current content. Doing research now.

I'd love to keep the old content, but us old members remember resetting the board before.

I still read from time to time, but not sure the posters know it. The posters on here are pretty good. It would be nice to have a "like" button to let people know I am enjoying their posts.

Glad we're back up and running, but it helped maybe that we were down for the beginning of yet another late summer swoon.
