** Away game, not my summary **

Tampa, FL- For the second time in the last four nights the Marauders played beyond the 15 inning mark, winning a 7-6 thriller in 18 innings against the Tampa Yankees. Mel Rojas Jr. hit an RBI triple off Hector Rabago (L 0-1) to bring home Benji Gonzalez with an unearned run. Rabago started the game at third base and also played second before taking the hill.

Josh Poytress (W 2-0) got the win for the Marauders with six innings of shutout baseball. He received defensive help in the 16th from Rojas, who threw out Neil Medchill at the plate on a single by Rabago. Medchill ran over catcher Carlos Paulino, who held onto the throw. On the collision, home plate umpire Mario Seneca was injured. Ramon Hernandez finished the game as the lone umpire.

The Marauders led 6-5 into the ninth, but a solo home run off the bat of Kyle Roller tied the score, launching the 18-inning marathon. The Marauders stranded 18 runners over the course of the game. The Yankees left 10 on.

Gerrit Cole started and pitched five innings for the Marauders. He allowed two runs and struck out five.

Rojas was joined by Gift Ngoepe and Dan Grovatt as Marauders to post three-hit games. Six Marauders had multi-hit games.
