Game Summary - Starting Pitcher #25 Tyler Waldron had a very off night as the Marauders lost 14-4. He gave up 9 hits and 7 runs before being replaced by #10 (Joan Montero) who gave up more runs before being replaced by #26 Francisco Diaz. We left after the 6th inning because the temps were getting cooler (70 degrees and very breezy) and the bats had gone cold after 2 innings. :-)

Very windy out. Starting temp was 74 degrees. (I know, Pittsburgh was 40 but this is cool for us in April!)

Image

Crazy Dave - When the visiting team strikes out, he 'helps' them back to their seat yelling "right, left, right, left.."

Little league players get to run out to their position with the Marauder players. Got some tiny ones tonight!

Not a big crowd again tonight - not sure why, but they didn't miss much :-(

#30 Alex Dickerson stretches for the throw to first.

Our regular usher, Fred, making sure everything is running smoothly!

#10 Joan Montero, warming up in the bullpen, to replace #25 Tyler Waldron.

Down 4-0, the outfield waits for the next pitch.

Joe Egolf, a dedicated Pirates/Marauders fan, He's had that hat since 1977.

This Hammerhead player #6, Dallas Poulk (2B), got nailed by our pitcher.
It put him down for a good minute before he got up and tried to walk it off to 1st base.

#16, Stefan Welch, unusual finish to his swing.

Safely on first base. You can see the score in the background, 9-2 at this point.

My wife, Tamara, bundled up for the cool, breezy weather.

Image

Grounds crew working hard. We had 4 inches of rain between last Friday and yesterday and you can't even tell.

Image

Last score we saw. We left after 6 innings. Between the cool weather and cool bats we had enough.
