Sports center has become the national enquirer of sports. Back in the day when it first came about it was great. All sports news, which did not exist at the time. But now with so many other mediums out there rarely do I watch it.

Another two out RBI for the Cubs. Another run given up by the bullpen.

We will be 1-6 against teams not named the Brewers including 0-4 against the rest of the division. Not a good start to the season.

Neverette again.

Pirates are running out of outs down to their last four. This comment came with one out in the 8th. Do the math.

Sorry if I am getting on him, but I have noticed it more this year since I am listening to most games on the radio. He stinks.

I feel like Brown and Neverette are two halves of one great announcer. If you could combine their good qualities, you'd have one of the greats.

Bastardo has looked like crap since spring training. And it looks like the brewers really really suck this year. Lucroy was just put on disabled list. Might be our new Astros which I have no problem with. But our bats are failing us again. Looks like they are asleep again tonight which has been becoming too commonplace of late.

Bullpen 0-4 on the season. Starters 6-3.

Out of 13 games, starters with 9 quality starts.

Offense has score less than 3 runs in 6 of the 13 games.

Did you know Kris Bryant saved 12 puppies on the way to the ballpark, saved the fan behind home plate hit with the foul ball, cured cancer, followed up with a 5-run HR, and pitched a CG shutout?

Well, it's true.

Can I borrow somebody's knitting needles? I have to punch out my eardrums ...

Well, he did go three for 4 with 3 RBIs a run scored and a walk. In other words, about as much production as our entire team.

Your point is taken, however. I've gone to watching games with Pandora on in the background and then I don't have to hear the inanity.

I had to turn in Sirius about 3 innings into it. Those Cub's announcers were really bad...

Yeah, they were abysmal.

They spent the early innings talking about the origins of team nicknames.

That was the apex of the evening.
