Boy, would I love to see Watson and Melancon close this out for a sweep.

The Brewers look demoralized. Is it ok to feel good about that?

Yes, yes and a million times yes. After they kicked sand in our faces for the better part of five years, they can suck eggs.

Like my view on a certain NFL team owned by Jerry Jones. I cheer, hope, pray and root for them to be utterly annihilated every time they take the field. I wish the Cowboys to lose every game 98-0 and it's only that score because the winning team failed on a two point conversion with no time left on the clock.

Cole's home dominance, Alvarez's homer carry Bucs past Crew

Very nicely played game. Definitely hope Mercer is okay - he is extremely underappreciated defensively. Good range, great hands, great arm.

Good to see J-Hay smoke a couple more balls. Now play a little D and steal a few bases, J-Hay.

Cole was not as sharp as he was his last outing, but battled through. That is why he becomes our No. 1 very soon. Despite not having A+ control of his slider, and despite some defensive gaffes that ran up his pitch count, he held the Brewers in check and gave up 1 actual earned run. (Calling the grounder to Harrison in the 2nd a base hit was a joke. Error all the way.)

Hughes ... I like it. 93-94 mph sinker, and a decent slider. He needs to mix in some first-pitch sliders to punish batters looking 100% fastball. Throws strikes, gets ahead, gets some weak swings.

Melancon dealing at 90 mph. Better than his prior 87-88. Also went inside to lefties several times today. Sawed off Parra for the game-ending double play.

Hey, and Pythagorus thinks we should be 7-5. Manfred should do something about that!!

Stay healthy, Jordy. Team needs you.

I am with you Bob. No better sight than seeing Braun swing at a pitch in his eyes for a K…... 8-) 8-) Intercourse the Brewers….. 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)
