So far the Pirates have given up 7 runs this season Four have come on home runs by Todd Frazier. One on a balk and one on a wild pitch.

Big hit for Cervelli with two outs. Tie game.

Looks like the offense is going to have to win this one. Cole not sharp.

Well,we'll get a chance to see how "clutch" Mr Walker can be this early season. Runners on second and third, one out, down by 1 top of the fifth....

OK, I'll take it. Sac fly scoring harrison and advancing Polanco. So, in this inning, the aforementioned both followed Sysiphus' dictum of simply avoiding outs, while Cutch and Walker played #9 ball by having relatively productive ABs, advancing runners both times.

Cole done for the night. Not a great outing. Not a bad one. 5 IP, 3 ER, 7 baserunners, 6 Ks.

Bases loaded. Two outs in 6th. Reds bring the lefty in to face Polanco. Anyone think about going to Sean Rodriguez in this situation? You just used Lambo in the 9 spot which means he can play right field and the pitcher goes to the two spot. Clint sticks with Gregory. Ks. Still 3-3.

I know it was early in the game and the season, but I think a pinch hitter made sense there.

But Hurdle goes to Hart for Pedro in the 7th with two outs and a man on second. Very interesting.

And Reds go to the righty and Hart makes them pay. First Bucs lead of the year.

Two games. Two epic failures for the bullpen.

Sweet at bat by Polanco in the 9th against Chapman. Single on a 100-mph fastball.

No way I sit down Polanco for Rodriguez.

Pedro is going to be seeing very few lefties this season.

Finally.

I don't think that giving up a single run in the seventh inning constitutes an epic bullpen failure.

Anytime you lose the lead, it's epic.

I don't like our catchers. Hamilton steals at will.
