As much as I don't like Molina, you do have to give him props. He's a great catcher especially defensively. Also Animal, I just joined this forum, but I love the stars thing you do. I should've join this forum a long time ago, but I never thought there would be a Pirates forum. This place is awesome!

YEP...Monila is one of those guys you have to hate, but if he were on your team, he would probably be one of your favorites! He is and always has been a great defensive catcher, who made himself into a good hitting one too.

Thanks for your comments about the stars. I enjoy doing them. I actually watch the games, making mental notes about how important a particular at bat, or pitch, might be.It has actually helped me appreciate the game more. Throw your two cents into the discussion about them.

Regarding the board...it's a pretty good mix of society. We have people from all walks of life (but WAY too many attornies   )...and all ages. We have a lot of old farts like me that remember the good old days when the Bucs were king of baseball in the 70's and gave us 2 world championships (to go with the 4 Steeler world championships we saw)...some even OLDER who even remember the '60 series. Then there are those who only remember the success of the early 90's without getting to the series. Then there are some young 'uns who have never even SEEN a winning team that they can remember.

GO BUCS!@

I thought it was james harrison, not josh harrison.lol. Molina blocked the plate, Harrison was trying to score. Completely legal. Pete Rose used to run guys over too to score. I call it aggressive base running. The kind of spark the Pirates need to turn this thing around.
