GJ did his best, Pedro did his job and got on and Harrison came through with the SF, but...

It still would have been nice to have Walker up there in that situation.

Too bad. Hope he's healthy soon!

Getting that 2nd run was huge. Settling for 1 would have been something of a letdown. With 2 runs scored, we can definitely chalk the inning up as a success.

Now if Barajas can do anything here, that's gravy.

Woulda liked to have gotten more, but at least they got more than 1.

So, my attention was on the baserunners and I missed it; on Schumaker's double, why did Cutch hold on to the ball for so long?

And, with the Barmes error, the crowd in Section 323 officially turns ugly. :?

Pains me to say it, but this team has no heart.

I vehemently disagree. They have heart. They just aren't as good as the Cardinals (yet).

I know my eyesight isn't what it used to be, but I ain't seeing it.

And it's not just the Cardinals, and it's not just tonight.

I will say that normally when I make a statement like that it blows up in my face.

Here's hoping.....

Bucs are going to win this game. I can feel it. Magic time.

Dang. Proud of this team even as it begins to slip away. I think the future is going to be okay but right now.it has to be pressure getting the best of them.

Yes. The Fan today asked the Cardinal's announcer how the Cards seem able to turn it on when they need to. He said, "They have experience. They've been though a pennant race before so know how to do it." This is where the young (in terms of years of experience) Bucs come up short. They don't know how to pace themselves, stay relaxed, and let their talent come through. They are playing tense and stressed - and this is not the way to play baseball.

Yeah I think tonight's game was an example of been there done that. Even with the talent the cardinals lost this offseason due to free agency and injury. The bucs need to just finish. Have fun.
