Jon, and you are how old now??? You were in the 8th grade then.....last time the Bucs had a winning year??? Wow. That really puts it in perspective for me.....not that I'm not aware of how long it's been. I watched that game also.....with well founded fear. I had tickets for the first game of the world series in '92. My sister called me in the 9th inning (we were still ahead at that point) to make arrangements for me to pick up my nephew for the world series game. I screamed at her, "It's not over yet"!!! And, of course, it wasn't. I video taped the game, and still have not been able to watch the horrible outcome.....16 years later! I think everyone knew it would be some time before the Bucs would be good again, but I don't think anyone imagined how long it would actually be!! I think McClatchey especially really screwed up the organization. Yes, we can thank him for stepping up to the plate (so to speak) and putting together the people who bought the team, but so many mistakes have been made over the years (well articulated by many here) that the organization has hit rock bottom. The only hope is that Neal Huntington and Frank Coonley are able to put things back together again, before I reach really old age. The Cubs? At least they've had winning teams...... Let's go Bucs!

Randy Friggin Marsh. Hey Randy, think you could squeeze the strike zone a bit more?

Ah, yes. The infamous Damon Berryhill at bat! IMO, the whole series turned on the 2-1 pitch. If that gets called strike two like it was, the at bat goes in a different direction. Brian Hunter's little pop up becomes the third out, and....

Never mind!
