You guys just pat them on the back and just go on how you love whatever this team does. Face it they are terrible the moves they made were not all that great.

Just be happy with the bobbleheads I guess you dont care if they win.

Do you have some crystal ball? There's no way to tell whether a trade worked out immediately when it involves young prospects.

If everyone from the Bay and Nady trades end up being a stinker over the course of the season next year, yeah, I'll agree that the trades didn't work out. Until then, I'm not going to fret over what was a lost season anyway.

Ok then judging by right now today it is a bad trade. None of the guys the pirates have gotten seem to have a whole lot of promise

BS. Tabata is a monster. Has played like a monster since arriving. Living up to his billing.

Moss has shown good power, and aside from a mini-slump, has his well. Hustles and plays good defense.

I said tabata is the only good player in these trades.

Moss has shown a little bit of power. he does not play good defense at all!
He strikes out way to much and doesnt have enough power to be that good. He is close to adam dunn strikeout machine but only has the power of like an xavier nady

No power huh? Hmmm, I believe Moss has the same number of HRs as Bay since the trade.

His defense is more than adequate, and his arm is exceptional.

Comparing him to Nady is not a knock in my book.

His defense is TERRIBLE its BELOW AVERAGE he cant play left field even.

Moss also has a lower batting average and less rbis.

Well, it is good to see that you know more than the scouts.

His defense is just fine.

See how easy that is.

Bullcrap. Nobody on earth thought that those trades were supposed to improve the team this year.

I didnt think they would drasticly make this team so bad. When doug M says this team is quitting then they are quitting.

I'll take the word of a levelheaded manager over that of a highly competitive, vocal and frustrated player, especially when what he says and what I see match up.

The manager has to say all the right things to try to keep his job.

Doug can say almost what he wants to some degree.

You think that Russell was hired because he says the right things?

Besides, what he's saying and what I'm seeing match up.

Yes, he can. When he's frustrated he can go ahead and blow his stack and say any damn thing that he wants.

I like managers who can get his players to want to play hard for him. Some do that calmly and others with fire, so the temperment isn't that important to me as the determining factor in a manager. There are so many factors that go into that.
