I dont know if you guys caught this or not. Sorry if the group already glossed over this. I found this here in Indy .

The three Indians were all listed among the best in the International League in Baseball America's annual "Best Tools" issue. McCutchen was named the "Most Exciting Player," Walker the "Best Defensive Third Baseman" and Barthmaier as having the "Best Breaking Ball."

I thought the Buc's converted Catcher Neil Walker to a third baseman because he could hit. They didn't want him held up behind Polino if I remember correctly. They said it would take at least two years before he could play 3rd defensively well enough.

Playing catcher is an entirely different animal than playing 3B.

Steelking, I am voting for your candidate pictured on your post above. You have just clinched it for me. I was stuck until now. I love the thought of writing-in a dead man for president.
Thanks

The Pirates moved Walker because he was a lousy catcher. Believe me, they most definitely did not want to move him. His bat is less valuable at third, and the farm system was completely devoid of catching talent when the move was made.

I wonder if they meant Biggest Tools instead of best tools.
