Well, you've come a long way from the "bench player" comments from spring training. Now, you aren't just acknowledging he is a starter, but a middle of the order guy. :D

Now if you could just convince your alter ego that McClouth is for real...

I don't have a problem admitting when I'm wrong. In a situation like this, I am thrilled I was wrong. Now as for Elmer, good luck. He won't budge on some things purely out of spite.

Let's not "anoint" him just yet.
After all, both Jack and Freddy have previously been similarly proposed.

What does Ferris Bueller's buddy Cameron have to do with Nate McLouth?

What are we witnessing here? Is McLouth a middle of the order guy? A version of Barry Bonds? Is he going to be a brighter star than Bay will ever hope to be? I believe we have already located our future Leftfielder in McLouth. A guy that could provide the much needed speed to play such a large LF at PNC, enough power to be a quality offensive corner outfielder(20-25 HRs a yr), and an almost cult like following that will likely insue if he continues to produce regularly. Our defense in Lf and CF(with McCutchen) will be stellar and probably do some good in lowering the RA total. The only problem I see is that Pearce is going to have to accept a name-change... to McPearce.

I agree McClouth looks to be a middle of the order guy and our left fielder of the future. But compare him to Barry Bonds? Come on dude.

Please read my post thoroughly, I merely asked if McLouth was a middle of the order kind of guy, and I asked if he was a version of Bonds, NOT Bonds.

I went on to say that McLouth will probably be a guy who hits 20-25 HRs a year (as opposed to Bonds' 40-70)

The situation that McLouth is in is similiar to that of Bonds in the early years, except Bonds wasn't hitting around .300.

If the last picture is also NH, he really resembles the kid who killed the Bishop with the supposed multiple personalities. Don't remember the name of the movie but Richard Geer player the defense lawyer who was tricked by the killer. Find his picture and it matches the smaller and last NH picture.

The resemblance in these two photos is uncanny. Same facial expression and everything. NH, I now dub thee "Opie"!
