How many guys did we leave on base tonight? Since Bay and Nady are gone we can't hit our way out of a wet paper bag.

I thought we had a chance with Mientkiewicz at bat and the bases loaded.

I can't believe that comment.

We just traded away two of the best.

With Nady and Bay gone, you don't have to pitch to Doumit and McLouth anymore. You can now pitch around them, because the other big bats no longer are there.

LaRoche and Freddy coming back should help add a little punch to the line up. As Pearce, Moss, and Andy LaRoche get some experience they should also help our offense.

It's not about this season or for that matter next season either.

It's only been 11 games...these guys need some time to adjust...

Little LaRoche missed a few days, plus has been sitting on the bench in LA or in the minors all season...

Doumit in the last 10 games is hitting .324, with 4 Rbi's and has only K'd 5 times in 37 at bats...

Moss has already walked as many times (6) in 10 games here than he had in 34 with Boston

Pearce is getting his chance, if he faulters there's still McCutchen at AAA

These guys all have potential to being studs, they just need the playing time and 11 games isn't enough right now to judge one way or another yet...

I'm watching the Red Sox and Rangers.....now 19-16 in favor the the Sox. The excitement at Fenway is frenetic! When will that ever happen again in Pittsburgh? Will I see it again in my lifetime? So sad, so depressing....

Yeah, thanks, nad. I lost my perspective for a moment when Youkalis hit a three run homerun in the 8th for the Sox. We need to be patient, that much I know. Patient for 15 years.....

Youkalis is on my fantasy team sweet!!! I got Hamilton from the Rangers too, I'm going to look at the box score now...

Though that score is more like a fieldgoal kicking football game than a baseball game

Thank you, Sub. People want to shit themselves over the loss of Bay and Nady. Guess what? The loss of a hot hitting Laroche and a hot hitting Sanchez impacted this lineup just as bad. If they come back and hit like they were before they got injured, and we still aren't scoring runs, then spend your days moaning over the loss of Bay and Nady.

But as was stated, it isn't about this year anyways. There is no difference between 78 wins and 72 wins. If you don't like it, watch the Yankees.
